I have been reading about the Finger Lakes and Seneca is deep and seems to be Trout land with deep water for Lake trout ,Rainbow and Brown trout. So that would be deep,deep ( this time of year ) trolling. Not what we want.

The one lake that sounds like what we are looking for is "Conesus". Largemouth, smallmouth and Northern Pike seem to be the main ones. Is there a Boat restriction on that one ?. I have the "Sanders" book of Western NY fishing and he has one out on the Finger Lakes also. I'll get that one tomorrow.

You may need a machete to go on Conesus, last time I was on there ( 7 years ago) there was a lot of seaweed. It was on a pontoon boat, so gas engines are okay.
