Tomorrow I'm headed to UB for the BACSIM meet and a day of boardgames. I've decided to crash at the Seneca Niagara Casino and spend the night there, playing some poker later Saturday night and Sunday morning. Maybe even a few slots (mindless throwing away of money is fun!).
It'll be a nice little getaway, as this has been a long, long week...

Hey Rob, hope you're luck was with you! Sorry I couldn't make it out. I was out of the classroom Friday so there's some catching up to do this weekend on top of all the usual stuff. Another 4-6 weeks and the breathing room will increase dramatically - I can hardly wait...
I did pull down some winnings at the poker table Saturday night/Sunday morning, I'll write about it this week!

You sound a bit down, dude. This recession is a major bummer and it seems to spill over into everything. Time for a mindless and time-consuming hobby I think (rather than the mindless money-consuming one that I have presently).

Luckily, my job is pretty "recession-proof," so I just have to get my life in order...
Mine is recession-proof as well. People are always willing to kill themselves in stupid ways while at sea.
