Cake...

Scored 2 tickets to the Cake concert at the Rochester Main Street Armory -- a quaint location in which to see a great band.  I've liked these guys since the mid-90s, and have always wanted to see them.  I finally have my chance!  The tix are general admission, and I know there are some left, so anyone in the area, well, the more the merrier!  Concert date is Sunday, September 28th.

These guys are hard-core socialists, so I'm sure I'll have to bite my tongue a few times during the concerts.  Maybe I should wear my "Nobama" t-shirt that night?  If I were going to see Charlie Daniels, I'd wear my "OldCain" t...  Anyway, I wish bands would just shut up and play their music and not be preachy, but I like these guys enough that I'm willing to put up with it...

I'll leave you with a live clip of 2 songs -- "Sheep Go To Heaven" and "Frank Sinatra," split by some commentary by the band.

Enjoy.

Don't know you well enough, and couldn't care less (not true) about US election, but CAKE rocks... Saw them a few years back... Excellent... Your definition of socialism is probably so far from muine... then again, mine is so far from anyone if France... I'd love to discuss with a McCain fan...

Your clip is great !!!
